Learn How to Propagate Plants

Learn how to propagate plants by volunteering at the Markham Nature Park and Arboretum Garden Center. Workdays are every Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners demonstrate how to grow plants from seed and cuttings. A wide variety of vegetables, perennials, shrubs and trees are grown to raise money for the Markham Regional Arboretum Society. Plants are also grown for the International Garden and special educational exhibits.

At Markham Regional Arboretum Society, there are many jobs for volunteers. Please note the volunteer opportunities listed on this page. Volunteers of all ages and talents are needed. We have a flexible schedule and can find the perfect spot for you.

E-mail us at markham.arboretum@gmail.com with your name, phone number, and which volunteer opportunities interest you.
