Learn How to Propagate Plants

Learn how to propagate plants by volunteering in the nursery at the Markham Nature Park and Arboretum. Workdays are every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners demonstrate how to grow plants from seed and cuttings. A wide variety of vegetables, perennials, shrubs and trees are grown to raise money for the Markham Regional Arboretum Society, a citizen group charged with developing hte park. Plants are also grown for the International Garden and special educational exhibits.
