Plant sales in the spring, summer, and fall are the main fund raising opportunites for Markham Regional Arboretum Society. The proceeds of the plant sales help to buy the irrigation supplies and plants necessary to develop the International Garden and other projects at Markham Nature Park and Arboretum.

    Come early for the best selection of ornamental grasses, trees, shrubs, natives, vegetables, and a wide selection of perennials. We have plants to satisfy the beginning gardener, as well as unusual plants to delight the plant collector.

    Plants cost $2.00 for 4-inch pots and $4.00 for plants in 1-gallon pots. Plants in 5-gallon pots are $7.00. All of our plants are propagated by volunteers and 100% of the profits go to the Markham Regional Arboretum Society which is helping the City of Concord to build the International Garden and develop the arboretum.
    In addition, often a number of vendors from throughout the Bay Area will be present and offer unusual butterfly plants, herbs, rare house plants, and much more.

    The Markham Garden Center is at 1202 La Vista Ave., Concord. La Vista Ave. intersects Clayton Road in between Treat Blvd. and Farm Bureau Rd.
