Welcome to the web site of Markham Nature Park & Arboretum, a 16-acre island of natural beauty near the heart of downtown Concord. People who visit for the first time are surprised that such a lovely, natural park exists inside the city limits. Markham is Concord's secret garden . . . still waiting to be discovered by many residents of the area.
The park is being developed by the City or Concord in partnership with a citizen-run non-profit organization called Markham Regional Arboretum Society. Governed by a Board of DIrectors, the Society raises money, creates plans, and oversees the development of the park.
